Lizzy is a multi-disciplinary artist hailing from Nashville, TN, where her creative journey began. Her artistic exploration unfolded over the years, transitioning from photography to graphic design and drawing during her time at CU Boulder. However, it was within the realm of fashion that she discovered a profound sense of empowerment.

Growing up and into adulthood, like many, Lizzy faced the struggle of finding clothes that truly fit in the limited selection at stores. She vividly remembers the emotional process of fitting room trials and failures, where every purchase was meant to make her feel special amidst relentless fashion trends and advertisements. Frustrated by these experiences, she decided to take matters into her own hands, especially during the onset of the pandemic. Armed with a sewing machine and a multitude of YouTube tutorials, Lizzy taught herself the basics of sewing.

Her deep appreciation for thrifting, vintage fashion, and unique, one-of-a-kind garments naturally led her to incorporate these elements into her personalized creations. Sourcing materials from local second-hand stores became not only a personal style choice but also a conscious stand against the issues plaguing the fast fashion industry. Recognizing the environmental and labor concerns associated with fast fashion, Lizzy is driven by the urgency of addressing these problems. Her art has evolved into a medium for advocating sustainability and fair labor practices.
In the past two years, while navigating her own mental health challenges and channeling them into her art, Lizzy has found unwavering support and inspiration from her sister, Caroline. Their shared love for fashion is a foundational element of their bond. Growing up together, they would often explore second-hand stores, discovering vintage treasures that continue to inspire Lizzy's work. Caroline actively participates in various elements of the clothing creation process, adding an extra layer of love and creativity to every piece.
